I was at Hobby Lobby last week and found this beautiful My Minds Eye Paper. I made this journal for my daughter's birthday and hope she will like it. Let me know what you think. Mel

I was having a hard time getting around with the cast on my foot so I went to Dallas for 2 weeks so my sister could help me. While I was there we made a canvas and this is my Tim Holtz inspired canvas. I got to use several mediums, paper, paint rub ons, and stamps. Let me know what you think. Mel

I made these journals to give as gifts. The "Beauty" Journal was made with some American Crafts Valentines paper that I have had forever. I used a new Magnolia stamp that I ordered last month. The other journal was made with some We R Memory Keepers paper from the "Tiffanys" collection. Very basic but cute.

Graphics 45 Journal

Just an update......I finally got to a good orthopaedic doctor. I've been in a fiberglass cast since March 24th, but hope to come out of it sometime later this week! Then I will be wearing a foot/ankle brace for about 5 months. Hopefully, this will be just what I need to get me back on my feet and walking again. Using a walker and wheelchair is really making me feel old!!

Anyway, I have been busy the past few weeks. Been making some gifts for friends. I just love Graphics 45 paper and I made this journal for a guy friend of mine. I was trying to be masculine but still try to make a nice journal for him.

Let me know what you think.

Another Birthday Card

Hi everyone again......I picked up this stamp at Stampers Ink here in Kansas City and thought they would make great cards for my "over 40" friends! Aren't these gals a hoot? Let me know what you think......mel

Birthday Card

Hi everyone, I can't believe it has been so long since I posted.

I looked at my calendar for the next few months and realized that I needed some birthday cards......and fast. I got the idea for this card from Jenny Groop and thought it was cute. Let me know what you think. Mel

I made this card for a friend today. I wanted it to be kinda "girly" so I made it a butterfly theme. This card gave me a chance to use some supplies I have had around for a while but never got around to using.

Let me know what you think...
